Both are omitted rather than faked - see why below.\n - No IUCN block: no independent Red List assessment exists for\n \"schultzei\" under either name. The type material was lost in WWII,\n it's been treated as a synonym of C. aeneus (now Osteogaster aenea,\n Least Concern) for most of the last 50 years, and its validity is\n still unresolved. Citing the aenea assessment under the schultzei\n name would misrepresent what's actually been evaluated, so it's\n left out rather than forced.\n - No FishBase block: same reason - no independent FishBase page for\n schultzei turned up; it's folded into the aeneus complex there.\n - PlanetCatfish and ScotCat both have real, dedicated pages for\n Osteogaster schultzei specifically (ScotCat's even documents the\n black strain by name), so those two carry the Resources section\n this time instead of IUCN\/FishBase.\n - IMPORTANT - PLEASE CONFIRM: paragraph 3 is deliberately non-\n committal on whether this breeding group was bred\/raised in your\n fishroom or is the friend's protected line being dispersed. In 1998, renowned Corydoras specialist Hans-Georg Evers collected specimens from a small tributary of the Rio Araguaia near Montes Claros de Goiás. Those specimens formed the foundation of the aquarium population and were subsequently used in the species' formal scientific description in 2016.
